Westward Collective was created by two friends from small towns in British Columbia with a shared love for fashion, meaningful moments, and helping women feel confident in what they wear. What started as late-night conversations and dress racks quickly turned into a dream of creating a Canada-wide dress rental company that feels elevated, inclusive, and approachable.

The name Westward came from our roots. One of us grew up on the coast in Prince Rupert, the other in the interior in Williams Lake — different hometowns connected by the road that leads west. The name represents where we come from, the feeling of home, and the beauty of the Canadian west coast lifestyle that inspires our brand. It also reflects movement: chasing dreams, celebrating milestones, and stepping into new seasons of life.
